  • 375g (13¼ oz) ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 300g (11oz) beef fillet
  • 100g (3½ oz) mushroom paté
  • Handful parsley leaves and redcurrants, to garnish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200˚C400˚F gas mark 6. Unroll the pastry onto a lightly floured chopping board. Cut the pastry into 36 squares. Knock the sides of the pastry with a knife.
  2. Place the squares onto a baking sheet.
  3. Spread each of the pastry squares with the mushroom paté and top with chunks of beef.
  4. Cook for 7 minutes. Serve topped with a pastry leaf and a few redcurrants.
