Easy Chicken Katsu Curry
This chicken katsu curry is easier to make than you think, especially when you use frozen breaded chicken and a jar of ready-made katsu sauce. This time-saving version delivers the same delicious flavours you’d expect from a japanese-inspired dish with the convenient shortcuts needed to go from freezer to fork in 15 minutes.

What you'll need:
- 4 breaded chicken burgers
- One packet of microwaveable long grain rice
- 340g katsu curry sauce
- Sesame seeds and nigella seeds (optional garnish)

Method:
- Pre-heat your oven and bake the breaded chicken burgers according to the packet instructions.
- Grab a saucepan and pour in your katsu curry sauce.
- Heat the curry sauce on a medium heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove the cooked chicken burgers from the oven and place on your serving plates.
- Microwave the packet rice according to the packet instructions.
- Pour the katsu curry sauce over the breaded chicken and serve with the microwaved rice.
- Sprinkle with your optional sesame seeds and nigella seeds.
