People's Podium

Last year we awarded gymnastics coach Mike Briggs £10,000 to help his local club in Dumfries improve their facilities. This year we're back again! We're on the lookout for the Hero Next Door making a difference, big or small to your local team or club.

We want to hear about the people doing amazing work for your sports club. Nominate them for our People's Podium and they could win up to £10,000 for your community.

WHAT IS THE SPAR PEOPLE’S PODIUM?

The SPAR People’s Podium is our way of celebrating the heroes next door who work tirelessly to help sports teams, clubs and programmes in your area.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR MY COMMUNITY?

Nominate your Hero Next Door and they could be in with a chance of winning £2,000 - £10,000 to spend on their sporting club or programme - meaning everyone can benefit.

BUT WHAT MAKES A HERO NEXT DOOR?

From the volunteers at your local boxing gym to the person running your after-school athletics club. These awards are for the heroes going out of their way to help your local sporting community.

HOW DO I NOMINATE?
