During August and September, customers in the North of England were invited to take part in a ‘Show Us Your Sandwich’ competition which ran on SPAR North of England’s social media accounts, attracting photos of delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch creations.
SPAR North of England’s Price Locked campaign is all about delivering value to SPAR shoppers, and includes hundreds of key products with long-term fixed prices on. It includes daily essentials like milk, bread, frozen food, other fresh and ambient necessities, and alcohol.
Tiffany Hodgson’s eye-catching entry of a bacon, lettuce and tomato salad sandwich won her the monetary equivalent of a Warburtons 800g Toastie and a four-pint bottle of SPAR milk every week for the next year.
Tiffany, who lives in Scarborough and is a regular at SPAR Falsgrave Road, said:
“As soon as I saw the competition, I was interested in entering. I really enjoy cooking and being inventive with the food that I make. I made my sandwich appear as mouth-watering as I could and then took photos of it in different parts of the house for the best backdrop and for the perfect light! I was pleased with the result, and I am delighted to have won."
