Just in time for the hot weather, we’ve created this easy blackcurrant frozen yogurt recipe. Ideal as a post BBQ sweet treat or simply delicious on its own!
40g golden caster Sugar
300g SPAR brand Greek yogurt
100ml whole milk
Step 1: Throw together the blackcurrants and golden caster sugar in a large bowl. Leave aside for 30mins so the fruit starts to break down.
Step 2: Mash the berries a little with the back of a fork. Make sure you leave some slightly whole.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix your Greek yogurt, honey and milk together. Spoon the mixture in a freezable container and gentle swirl our berry mixture into it.
Step 4: Freeze for 2 hours, give it a little stir and then return back to the freezer
Step 5: Just before serving, take out of the freezer a couple of minutes before so its easily scooped up.
*Why not try melting some white chocolate to drizzle over the top for added indulgence when serving!
