How to make Hellmann's® Tuna Pasta Bake
Fusilli pasta holds the sauce well and gives a nice bite. Do not overcook the pasta initially, as it continues to soften when mixed with the creamy sauce in the air fryer. Tuna adds lean protein, while sweetcorn gives extra flavour and texture. A mix of cheeses like mozzarella and red leicester makes the air fryer bake rich and comforting.
What you'll need:
- 1/2 cup (125ml) Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise
- 160g SPAR Fusilli Pasta
- 1 can (145g) SPAR Tuna Chunks in Brine
- 1 small can (198g) Green Giant Original Sweetcorn
- Half a bag (90g) grated cheese of your choice
- Half tsp of Lazy Garlic
- 225ml chicken stock
- 1 tbsp plain flour
Method:
- Put SPAR fusilli pasta into hot water, bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix 1/2 cup (125ml) of Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise with half a tablespoon of Lazy Garlic.
- Using boiling water, make up 225ml of chicken stock. Add flour and whisk until it’s a smooth consistency.
- Drain both your SPAR tuna chunks and SPAR fusilli pasta. Place both ingredients into a silicone air fryer liner and mix.
- For added flavour, we recommend adding Green Giant Original Sweetcorn. Mix well.
- Pour the Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise, garlic and flour sauce over the pasta, and finish off with a cheese or two of your choice. We recommend mozzarella and red Leicester!
- Bake in an air fryer at 160C for up to 8 minutes, checking regularly.
- After 8 minutes have passed, remove from the air fryer.
- Plate up, and enjoy!
