How To Make Pesto Chicken Pasta

Our easy, mid-week chicken pesto pasta recipe is full of flavour and quick and easy to make. Rustle up a flavourful dinner in no time, resulting in a delicious chicken pesto pasta recipe that will leave you wanting more.

What you'll need:

  • 75g uncooked fusilli
  • 150g chopped skinless chicken breast
  • 5ml olive oil
  • 20g red pesto
  • ½ chopped red pepper
  • ½ chopped onion
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 5g grated parmesan
  • Black pepper

Method:

  1. Add fusilli to a saucepan of boiling water and simmer for 6-8 minutes until tender, then drain.
  2. Preheat a frying Then add olive oil, garlic and onion. Cook for two minutes before adding the chicken, and cook for a further five minutes until the meat is cooked through.
  3. At this point, add and mix in the red pesto, red pepper and black pepper.
  4. Stir in the drained penne and heat for a further minute before serving up with parmesan and more black pepper.
