All SPAR brand fresh and frozen salmon, white fish and prawns are responsibly sourced.
We offer a range of fresh fish, including salmon, cod and haddock, which is responsibly sourced to standards set by the Sustainable Seafood Coalition (SSC). The coalition brings together stakeholders to make real changes in the seafood industry. The code of practice sets strict guidelines on such aspects as traceability, transparency, aquaculture and labelling.  All sourcing and labelling of SPAR brand fresh white and salmon  meets the SSC code of practice. In addition, our frozen salmon and prawns are responsibly sourced from MSC certified fisheries.
We are committed to ensuring that fish stocks are healthy and the environmental impacts are minimised.
