Our 'Fuel Your Spring' campaign* is all about those easy everyday wins - a quick walk to your local store, a bit of fresh air, picking up simple, tasty food that fuels your family adventures and gets you back outside.
We have lots of ways to help and support you get outside everyday – read on to find out how you can get involved.

Who better to help you Spring into action than Mr Motivator? The fitness legend joined us and over 100 participants for a community walk and warm up on Friday 20th March in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham.
The Fuel Your Spring walk was all about coming together, getting moving and taking those small steps to start spring on a high. Powered by community and feel-good energy, our campaign ambassador, Mr Motivator. Mr Motivator provided a warm-up and led an accessible walk around the park to get everyone moving and grooving into the sunnier months.
Participants got their hands on Fuel Your Spring goody bags with goodies from Lucozade, Huel, Volvic and Fulfill, and there was a chance to have a meet-and-greet with Mr Motivator himself. Attendees were among the first to receive a Step to SPAR card, allowing them to take part in the Step to SPAR challenge over the coming weeks to earn rewards and be entered into a £1000 draw!

1. Promoter
The Step to SPAR Challenge is promoted by A.F. Blakemore & Son Limited, a limited
company incorporated in England and Wales, whose registered address is Longacres
Industrial Estate, Rose Hill, Willenhall, West Midlands, WV13 2JP and company number is:
00391135) (“SPAR” or “the Promoter”) .
By participating in this promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and
are deemed to have accepted them. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any
conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional
materials.
2. Promotion Period
The promotion runs from 20 March 2026 to 17 April 2026 inclusive.

Stamps cannot be collected and rewards cannot be redeemed outside of this period.
3. Eligibility
● The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
● The following persons are not eligible to participate in the promotion or prize draw:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary
companies who are professionally connected with the promotion or its
administration;
(c) immediate family members of any of the above; and
(d) residents of Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
● Customers may participate in the stamp mechanic regardless of age, but prize draw
entries must be submitted by a person aged 18 or over.
4. How the Challenge Works
Participants collect stamps on the official Step to SPAR Challenge card when shopping at participating SPAR stores.
● They have had to walk to their local SPAR. ● A minimum spend of £3 per transaction is required to collect one stamp on their Steps to SPAR challenge card”f
● Only one stamp per qualifying transaction will be issued.
● Stamps must be issued at the time of purchase and cannot be applied retrospectively.
● Challenge cards must be original and not photocopied, altered or duplicated.
● SPAR reserves the right to reject cards that appear damaged, fraudulent or tampered with.
5. Rewards
Participants unlock rewards as they collect stamps on their card. Rewards to include:
● £1 off a SPAR meal deal
● Half-price hot or cold drink
● Free piece of fruit
● Free Lucozade or Red Bull (subject to availability)
● Entry into the £1,000 prize draw
● One (1) Mr Motivator Discount Code to three-month Mr Motivator Club membership
● One (1) Mr Motivator Discount Code hamper including a selection of items such as: Mr Motivator hoodie, T-shirt, A signed copy of his autobiography, Mr Motivator Fit Kit.
Rewards are subject to availability and may vary by store. Rewards have no cash alternative and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
6. Prize Draw
Participants who complete the challenge card will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win:
X10 lots of £1,000 cash prizes.
On customers last stamp, they are to enter the grand prize by completing the online form.
Additional prize draw conditions:
● Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries using an independently supervised process or automated random generator.
● Only one prize draw entry per completed challenge card will be accepted.
● Participants may submit multiple completed cards, but only one prize may be awarded per person unless otherwise stated.
● Only one of the ten cash winners will receive the X1 Mr Motivator discount code to his hamper
● SPAR reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of winners before awarding prizes. SPAR may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose, and any prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
7. Winner Notification
● Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided during entry.
● Winners must respond within 14 days of being contacted to claim their prize.
● If a winner does not respond within this timeframe, SPAR reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random.
8. Prize Fulfilment
● Cash prizes will be issued via bank transfer or cheque, as determined by A.F. Blakemore & Son Limited. The winner must confirm their identity and banking details prior to receiving payment.
● Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. The Promoter reserves the right to replace any prize with an alternative prize of equal value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
● The named provider and fulfiller of the Mr Motivator hamper and membership
● That fulfilment and delivery of the reward are the sole responsibility of the Promoter or a named third-party supplier
For the avoidance of doubt: Mr Motivator shall not be responsible for the fulfillment, delivery or quality of the hamper or associated rewards unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
The prize is for the stated items only and does not include any ancillary costs, which shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.
9. Participating Stores
The Step to SPAR Challenge is available only at participating SPAR stores across the UK which will be listed on the SPAR UK website. Participation, reward availability and redemption mechanics may vary between locations.
10. Product Availability
Promotional products and giveaway items are available while stocks last. SPAR cannot guarantee availability of specific items at all participating stores.
11. Fraud, Abuse or Misuse
SPAR reserves the right to:
● Disqualify any participant suspected of fraudulent activity or misuse of the
promotion
● Refuse redemption of stamps or rewards where misuse is suspected.
● Withdraw or invalidate any challenge card deemed to have been altered or
reproduced.
An entry must be made directly by an individual acting in their personal capacity. Bulk entries
from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible
entries and entries submitted by automated means (including macros) will be disqualified
and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer or other
device to circumvent this condition or to increase their entries in a way that is not consistent
with these Terms and Conditions, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize
awarded will be void.
The Promoter may refuse to award a prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty,
breach of these Terms and Conditions, or non-entitlement and may seek recovery of its
value if the prize has already been awarded.
12. Data Protection
Any personal data provided as part of the promotion will be processed in accordance with
UK data protection legislation and SPAR’s privacy policy, which is available on their
website. Data will be used solely for the purposes of: (i) administering the promotion and
contacting winners; and/or (ii) conducting analytics to improve the Promoter’s promotions,
products or services. The Promoter will not contact you for reasons other than the promotion
unless you have provided your express consent. No personal data provided in connection
with the promotion will be shared with any third party other than where necessary for prize
fulfilment.
Subject to the winner’s consent, the Promoter may request that winners participate in
publicity arising from the promotion. By entering, winners agree to the use of their name and
image in any publicity material. Except where a winner has requested that their details are
not shared, the winners’ details (abbreviated names only) will be available for a period of 30
days from the end of the promotion by emailing marketing@afblakemore.co.uk using “SPAR
Winners’ List” in the subject line.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter, its agents and distributors will not be
responsible for:
● Lost, damaged or stolen challenge cards
● Stamps not issued at time of purchase
● Technical or administrative issues affecting prize draw entries
● Entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, or
which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason
● Any failure by a winner to receive their prize as a result of having provided inaccurate
or incorrect contact details or failing to claim their prize in time
● Circumstances beyond SPAR’s reasonable control.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any
circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any participant or winner, or accept
any liability for any loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of
these Terms and Conditions, the promotion or taking up any prize, except where it is caused
by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your
statutory rights are not affected.
14. Changes to the Promotion
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, suspend or hold void the promotion
and these Terms and Conditions without notice due to any event outside of the Promoter’s
control, or where it otherwise becomes necessary to do so. Any changes to the promotion
will be notified to entrants as soon as reasonably practicable.
15. Acceptance of Terms
Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in
breach of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the promotion will be final and
binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English and Welsh law. Any dispute arising
out of or in connection with the promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
courts of England and Wales.
