Hot Honey – the trend that keeps on delivering

Why you need to try this sweet-heat combo

Few food trends have taken over kitchens as quickly as hot honey, and it’s easy to see why.

What started as a niche drizzle is now a global obsession. The combination of sweet, sticky honey with a fiery chilli kick does something magical when it hits bubbling cheese on pizza. Hot honey is one of those magical ingredients that instantly makes food more exciting. A little drizzle goes a long way, and it works across savoury, sweet and everything in between.

Hot honey isn’t just a trend; it’s a flavour upgrade that works on almost any pizza style. Once you try it, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without that sweet‑spicy drizzle.
Perfect Pizza Pairings for Hot Honey

1. Pepperoni or Spicy Salami

The honey caramelises slightly on the hot meat, creating a sweet‑spicy glaze and cuts through that heaviness with sweetness, giving each bite a lift. Try with our Pepperoni Stuffed Crust pizza.

2. Margherita

The glossy drizzle adds a sticky finish that contrasts beautifully with crisp crusts and melty cheese. Elevate our thin & crispy margarita pizza with some sweet-heat.

3. Four Cheese

The sweet heat cuts through the richness of gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan, and fontina.

4. Veggie Pizzas

Roasted peppers, mushrooms, courgette, or caramelised onions all love a little heat.
