Apple & Pecan Porridge

What you'll need
160g Rolled Porridge Oats
600ml milk or plant-based milk
30g of toasted pecans
1 eating apple
- Place your oats and milk into a large pan over a medium heat and gradually bring to a simmer for around 5 mins. Stirring the mixture to give a smooth creamy texture. Add any extra milk if needed.
- For the toppings, break up your pecans and add to a small non-stick frying pan. Toast until golden.
- Grate your apple and stir into your porridge mixture and drizzle in some maple syrup.
- Scatter your pecans on top and add some extra maple syrup if you’re feeling extra sweet! Enjoy!
