Legend has it this dish is so delicious it warrants a proposal, but practically speaking, it’s a winner because it delivers restaurant-quality indulgence in just 30 minutes. By pairing succulent chicken with a sun-dried tomato cream sauce, you spend less time over the stove and more time over a glass of wine. It’s rich, comforting, and looks beautiful on the plate, it’s romance in a bowl!

What you'll need:

Method:

  1. Prep the Chicken: Slice the chicken fillets into bite-sized pieces or thin cutlets. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. The Sizzle: In a large pan, heat a splash of oil and a knob of butter. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. The Sauce: In the same pan, add the garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Fry for 1 minute. Pour in the Spar Double Cream, a splash of chicken stock (about 100ml), the oregano, and chili flakes.
  4. Simmer & Melt: Bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Spar Grated Parmesan until the sauce thickens into a silky, golden cream.
  5. The Pasta: While the sauce simmers, boil the Spar Tagliatelle in salted water for 8–10 mins until al dente.
  6. The Marriage: Toss the cooked chicken and the drained tagliatelle into the sauce. Stir well to coat every strand.
  7. Serve: Plate up and garnish with extra Parmesan and a crack of black pepper.
