Bright, colourful and packed with fresh fruit, these rainbow fruit kebabs are perfect for parties, picnics, Pride celebrations or a fun healthy snack for little ones. Easy to make and ready in minutes, they’re a simple way to add a splash of colour to your table.
What you'll need:
For the kebabs
- 8 strawberries, halved
- 1 small orange, peeled and segmented
- ½ pineapple, cut into chunks
- 2 kiwi fruits, sliced
- 16 green grapes
- 16 blueberries
- 16 blackberries or purple grapes
- 8 wooden skewers
Optional extras
- Vanilla yogurt for dipping
- Mini marshmallows
- Fresh mint leaves
- Chocolate drizzle
Method:
- Wash and prepare all of the fruit into bite-sized pieces.
- Take a wooden skewer and thread the fruit on in rainbow order using strawberries, orange, pineapple, kiwi, green grapes, blueberries and blackberries.
- Repeat until all skewers are filled.
- Arrange the rainbow kebabs onto a serving platter or board.
- Serve immediately or chill in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
Top tip: For younger children, swap wooden skewers for paper straws or blunt reusable sticks for a safer option.
