4 SPAR red apples, cut into wedges
1/2 SPAR lemon, juiced
300g SPAR brown sugar
200ml SPAR double cream
120g SPAR butter
pinch of salt
1. Toss the apple wedges with the lemon juice and arrange on a serving plate.
2. Put the sugar, cream, butter and salt into a medium saucepan and whisk over a medium heat for a couple of minutes so that the butter melts and the sugar dissolves.
3. continue to whisk for around five more minutes until the mixture thickens and is glossy.
4. Pour the caramel dip in a bowl and cool slightly before serving it with the apple wedges. We'd recommend serving it a cauldron for extra witchy fun!
