SPAR UK Stores

When we open new SPAR stores or forecourts, or have any job vacancies, you’ll be the first to hear about it via our new LinkedIn page. With more than 12,000 stores across 44 countries, our network of SPAR UK stores contributes to the world’s largest international food retail chain, with more than 2,600 stores located across the UK. Stocking everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to groceries, alcohol, household goods and more – SPAR has developed to now offer other in-store and forecourt services beyond just groceries. Petrol stations, car washes, hot food to go, and bill paying services are now available across many of our UK stores, taking convenience for our customers to a whole new level.

SPAR RDCs

You can expect regular updates on our internal operations, including our network of Retail Distribution Centres, on our LinkedIn profile. SPAR UK has 5 Retail Distribution Centres (RDCs) located across the nation. These are CJ Lang & Son Ltd. (Scotland), James Hall & Co Ltd. (North of England), AF Blakemore & Son Ltd. (Central & South East England & Wales), Appleby Westward Group Ltd. (South West England), and Henderson Wholesale Ltd. (Northern Ireland), who supply our local retailers with everything they need. The network is designed to benefit SPAR retailers with more than just fresh food and groceries, offering new equipment and marketing packages where required.

SPAR Employees

SPAR UK employs more than 35,000 members of staff across our stores and RDCs within the UK – working to provide customers with service and products that can make their life more convenient, 7 days a week. SPAR jobs are available across more than just our stores, with distribution centres and UK offices all requiring a strong, enthusiastic workforce to contribute to the service we deliver.
