SPAR is searching for Everyday Champions within our communities. The Athletics celebrates champions on the track, whilst SPAR seeks to award the champions around us.
Everyday Champions are people within our local community that go above and beyond, and it’s likely you know one of them. SPAR, along with legendary athlete, Colin Jackson, want to present community heroes with a money-can't-buy reward at the European Athletics 2026.
Nominate your Everyday Champion

Do you know an Everyday Champion? Someone who goes out of their way to help their community, friends or family? If the answer is yes, take a few minutes to give them the recognition they deserve and fill in the short form to nominate your Everyday Champion.
The Winners' Prize
All nominations will be shortlisted and judged by an expert panel from the European Athletics and SPAR's regional team*. Five winners will be chosen to attend the opening day of the European Athletics 2026 in Birmingham along with:
- Two hospitality tickets including lunch and attending the opening ceremony
- A meet and greet with Colin Jackson
- A tour of the stadium
- An Everyday Champions medal presentation
Nominate your Everyday Champion between 25th June and 20th July 2026. They will be contacted via email by 31st July to attend the event on 10th August.
*This campaign is being managed by A.F. Blakemore, the Regional Distribution Centre for Central & South East England, and Wales.

The promoter of this campaign is A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd ("SPAR"), Long Acres Industrial Estate, Rosehill, Willenhall, West Midlands, WV13 2JP.
By submitting a nomination, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
The Everyday Champion campaign has been created to recognise and celebrate individuals who make a positive contribution to their local communities.
Members of the public are invited to nominate an individual they believe deserves recognition as an Everyday Champion.
Five (5) Everyday Champions will be selected to receive a VIP experience at the European Athletics Championships Birmingham 2026.
Nominations open on 25 June 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 20 July 2026.
Entries received after this date will not be considered.
The campaign is open to residents of the United Kingdom within the regions managed by A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd, these being Central & South East England, and Wales.
The nominator must be aged 18 years or over.
The nominee may be under 18 years of age; however, parental or legal guardian consent may be required should they be selected as a winner.
Employees of A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd, SPAR UK, European Athletics, participating sponsors, agencies involved in the administration of the campaign and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter or nominate themselves.
Self-nominations will not be accepted.
To enter, participants must:
- Complete the Everyday Champion nomination form in full
- Provide accurate contact information
- Confirm they have permission to nominate the individual named
- Agree to these Terms & Conditions
Only one nomination is required per Everyday Champion.
Multiple nominations for the same individual may be considered during judging but do not increase the likelihood of selection.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
As a thank you for submitting a valid Everyday Champion nomination, entrants will be eligible to redeem one (1) of the following products free of charge from a participating SPAR store:
- Pepsi Max 500ml
- Tropicana 250ml
- Wall's Sausage Roll
Upon successful submission of a nomination form, entrants will receive a digital voucher containing redemption instructions.
The voucher may only be redeemed once and is limited to one reward per valid nomination submitted.
The reward is available whilst stocks last and in the participating stores listed in the section below only.
The reward must be redeemed before the expiry date stated on the voucher.
No cash alternative, refund or substitute product will be offered.
SPAR reserves the right to replace any reward product with an alternative product of equal or greater value should circumstances require.
Lost, stolen, damaged or expired vouchers will not be replaced.
SPAR accepts no responsibility where a participating store has exhausted its stock allocation of a particular reward product.
The reward is intended as a thank you for participation and is separate from the Everyday Champion winner selection process. Redemption of the reward does not increase the likelihood of a nominee being shortlisted or selected as a winner.
