How to make prawn linguine
You'll feel like you are on the coast of Sicily with our fresh and tasty lemony prawn pasta, the garlic butter makes the recipe feel a little indulgent, add peas and parsley for a hit of green goodness. It pairs perfectly with our Grillo white wine, dine al fresco and you could almost believe your in Italy!
What you'll need:
200g SPAR Brand Linguine
2-3 large garlic cloves
175g SPAR prawns
1 lemon zested then cut into wedges
Handful of SPAR garden peas (optional)
1 small pack of parsley for garnishing
1. Boil the pasta and follow the pack instructions on the back of the packet. Then on a low heat in a medium pan, very gently cook the garlic in the butter and swirl together.
2. Add your prawns and cook in your pan. If you’re using fresh prawns, make sure they just turn pink and do not over cook them. Remove from the heat and stir in the zest and seasoning.
3. If you are using the peas, add them for the last 3 minutes of the pasta boiling. Drain your pasta and toss it into the pan with the delicious prawn butter mixture. Chop your parsley and stir through the pasta until well mixed. Divide between 2 bowls and serve with the lemon wedges.
