Our Italian prawn linguine recipe is a great recipe for a dinner for two or a date night, especially as it's really easy to make but full of flavour.
What you'll need
200g SPAR Brand Linguine
2-3 large garlic cloves
50g butter
175g of prawns (frozen of fresh)
1 lemon zested then cut into wedges
garden peas (optional)
1 small pack of parsley for garnishing
Method
1. Boil the pasta and follow the pack instructions on the back of the packet. Then on a low heat in a medium pan, very gently cook the garlic in the butter and swirl together.
2. Add your prawns and cook in your pan. If you’re using fresh prawns, make sure they just turn pink and do not over cook them. Remove from the heat and stir in the zest and seasoning.
3. If you are using the peas, add them for the last 3 minutes of the pasta boiling. Drain your pasta and toss it into the pan with the delicious prawn butter mixture. Chop your parsley and stir through the pasta until well mixed. Divide between 2 bowls and serve with the lemon wedges.
Serving suggestion: Why not serve your linguine with our crisp Grillo White Wine. Perfectly paired with sea food, it’ll take you right to the heart of beautiful Sicily.
